Look at the photo's of the underside of this California SUV and then compare what you see to what the other 2000 Xterra's in this area look like that are for sale. They have been subjected to road salt for the past seven years and are covered with rust, both where you can and can not see. This vehicle has only been driven in Mid-West winters for a bit over two years, but has been driven in a rural area where the roads have far less salt than in large metro areas such as Minneapolis/St Paul where they lay down tons of salt for each mile every winter. This vehicle is in the same condition as a 2005 from the Mid-West and will look good for two to three times as long as any 2000 Xterra that is for sale in the MSP area. If you take into consideration the new premium Tokico TreckMaster shock absorbers, The Volant Inclosed Cold Air Intake, the New Brakes, the WAAG Front Brush Bar and the New Complete Clutch, this vehicle is priced about the same as the rusty 2000 Xterra's for sale around here without these upgrades.
Clean shot of SUV with all straight rust free body pannels showing WAAG brush bar, roof rack with Yakama roof mounts.
If you are going to spend $11,000 to $12,000 for a vehicle from a dealer, for much less get a rust free SUV that will last you for years instead of becoming a rusted out hulk in another year or two!
Photo of Dash and Speedometer showing mileage at this time, although I am still using it for hunting this fall until it sells, so the mileage may change with time..
Right Front of SUV showing front roof air dam and sunroof and clean straight rust free body pannels along with clean non salt pitted alloy wheels.
Left Rear of SUV showing Nissan trailer hitch, factory tinted rear windows and stainless tip on the Flowmaster exhaust. The exaust is very quiet, but flows far better than the stock exhaust. 19-21mpg on the highway with this 5-speed 2000 Xterra!
Photo of Engine Compartment showing Volant air intake and rust free engine compartment. There is only a tiny bit of surface rust on a couple of bolt heads.
